What this is

svh.li is a link shortener run by SevinHub for SevinHub and its projects. There is no public sign-up yet. These terms apply to everyone who opens, reads or reports a link, and to everyone who makes links here.

Links that do not die

We do not delete links and we never give a link name to someone else. A link stops working only when its maker gave it an end date, when it is switched off under these terms, or if SevinHub stops this service. In that last case we will publish the list of links and where they pointed, so they can still be followed.

What a link may not do

A link may not lead to phishing, malware, scams or fraud, illegal content, content that sexualises or endangers children, incitement to violence or hatred, material that infringes the rights of others, spam, or another short link that hides the real destination.

How we keep links safe

We check every destination when a link is made or changed, and again every day. We may hold a link until we have checked it, show a warning instead of redirecting, switch a link off, or block a destination website for all links. When we switch off a link, we tell its maker why, unless the law forbids it.

Every change of destination is shown publicly on the link's receipt, with its date and the website names, so a printed link cannot be changed in secret.

Reporting a link

Anyone can report a link with the form on every receipt or by email to admin@sevinhub.com. A report should name the link, explain why it is illegal or harmful, and give your name and email address, which is not needed for reports of child sexual abuse material. We confirm every report on screen when it arrives, decide without delay and, if you left an email address, tell you our decision. If you disagree with a decision, reply to it and a person will review it.

Responsibility

We are not responsible for the content of the websites links lead to. We run the service with care but cannot promise it is never interrupted. Nothing in these terms limits liability that Belgian law does not allow us to limit.

Law and contact

Belgian law applies. Disputes go to the courts of Antwerp, without taking away any protection your own consumer law gives you. Contact and single point of contact under the Digital Services Act: admin@sevinhub.com (English, Dutch or Romanian).
